Today we are going to talk about home décor. This subject is one of my favorites. Apartment living is awesome because if something breaks a man with millions of tools shows up the next day to fix it. Apartment living is also NOT awesome because you cannot pound holes in the walls, or basically do anything to show that human life was present for the 12 months that you were living there. Later I will have to do a tutorial on how to fix everything before you move out, because I definitely know the drill. Here is a peak at my little abode. Sometimes I just sit and drool over these chairs. Collecting little knick knacks is fun because it brings personality into the home. Grab a few things each time you go out and you’ll be surprised what you can put together! (Steven would not agree with my advice to buy things every time you go out—men)The hexagon shelves are from etsy and while searching I found dozens of amazing options on that site.

Flipping the top book upside down really gives the room some flair and sends the message “I am daring, I don’t follow the rules”. Just kidding, I stacked them wrong. Whoops. Real talk these are just some books I took from my grandmother’s house after she passed away. Free, adorable, and now I have a little piece of her here with me.
