PURE BARRE

We feel the need to share our current obsession with you all. PURE BARRE. We have been members of many different gyms and fitness programs, but this is by far our favorite. Pure Barre is a mix between yoga and pilates. Do not let that fool you though...it is the most intense workout we have ever done.

The class is 60 minutes long and every few minutes you will target a different part of the body. So for example, when thigh section comes up you focus on the thighs (until you are shaking and can't take it any longer) and then you move on to seat work, and so on and so forth. The studio plays super fun music and everyone is so motivating and nice. For a portion of the class you are at the ballet barre, hence the name "barre". People of all shapes, sizes, with different injuries, and stages of life love barre because of how low impact it is on your body.

We go atleast three times a week, but sometimes more because of how addicting it is. Whether you are in to working out or not, you definitely need to give barre a try. We love that it is geared towards the women's body (though men are totally welcome too) and that we are always blasting just the right areas that we want toned.
