HALLOWEEN GARLAND

What you will need:

+sharp scissors

+Black, orange, green, and white yarn

To make the Bats: Wrap black yarn around the top of a chair. The more you wrap, the fluffier your bat will be. This will make approximately five bats.

Once you are done wrapping, cut one end of the yarn so that it is released from the chair. Lay this strand out long and section it off into sections (tying a smaller piece of yarn around the main strand to section off.)

Then, cut each section exactly in half.

You are finished with your bats! (Can also be spiders if you want to fluff them up and add eyes).

To make the ghosts:

These are the exact same as the bats except you want to portion of bigger sections so that the ghost will hang longer.

After you have cut up the ghosts, grab the string that you sectioned it off with and let all of the yarn fall. About an inch down, tie a small piece of string tightly to form a head. Trim the bottom so that it hangs even.

To make the pumpkins: Follow the exact same steps as the bat, but fluff it out so that it hangs round. Then, tie it off with a little piece of green yarn for the stem!

Then use those longs strings that you tied the sections off with to hang each pom on a long string,

creating your garland!

*FUN TIP*- If you just make ghosts and then dip dye the tips, it makes for a more neutral garland! Choose any festive color combination and switch out the tassels each season or Holiday!

We hope you love this fun Halloween garland! Tag us in your creation!
